Steve Kedzior - Senior IT Executive
Holding 25 years of accumulated professional experience, Steve Kedzior currently applies himself as Vice President and General Manager of Services at Avnet Technology Solutions, a leading global distributor of information technology (IT) products and services.
Mr. Kedzior joined Avnet in 2010, recruited by the company to expand its service strategy through acquisitions and organic growth and to re-brand specific IT services for greater market impact. Demonstrating solid supervisory skills, Steve Kedzior mined his extensive background in technology-fueled restructuring to facilitate a number of extremely productive change management initiatives, driving service growth in a legacy product company.
To accomplish this impressive improvement in service mix, Mr. Kedzior developed an actionable plan geared toward refining and strengthening the enterprise’s Cloud offerings, implementing numerous adjustments throughout the organization with a focus on cutting unnecessary costs to the highest extent possible. This strategy proved highly effective on multiple levels, enabling a solid structure and strategy for service growth laying a foundation for Avnet to build new relationships with a wide array of prominent technology corporations.
Under Steve Kedzior’s direction, Avnet Technology Solutions formed mutually beneficial collaborative partnerships with Microsoft, VMWARE , IBM, HP, Cisco, NetApp, and others, allowing the company to further solidify its broad portfolio of “Cloud Ready” products. In addition to the aforementioned achievements, Mr. Kedzior co-created a Global Service Council for the purpose of defining target goals, an endeavor that involved maximally leveraging Avnet’s worldwide service resources toward common global initiatives with best practice intentions firmly in mind.
Prior to his tenure at Avnet Technology Solutions, Kedzior functioned as Senior Vice President of Sales and Services for Insight Enterprises, Inc., a Fortune 500 company that provides IT support to commercial businesses, government agencies, and educational institutions. During his time at Insight, Steve Kedzior negotiated and closed the largest contract in the company’s history, a deal which resulted in a $15 million gross profit gain. He also produced upwards of $200 million in service revenue during his tenure.
Kedzior received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida and successfully completed the Executive Leadership Program at Harvard Business School.
