As an Assistant Vice President at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, Peter N. Junggren Jr. maintains significant responsibilities. Also a Partner with Morgan Stanley’s BHR Group, Mr. Junggren is responsible for the investment strategy for $250 million in assets for 200 high net worth clients. This entails helping them establish long-term goals and identifying risk, as well as managing asset allocation.

Mr. Junggren works closely with clients to make investment recommendations, review their portfolios’ performances, and evaluate economic and market conditions to determine the best course of action. He also is involved with corporate stock programs and handles various aspects of their administration, including employee stock purchase plans, performance stock units, restricted stock awards, and stock appreciation rights.

Prior to entering the financial services industry, Peter N. Junggren Jr. earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York. During his collegiate career, he worked at McMichael Boatyard as Head Rigger and was responsible for all aspects of boat maintenance throughout the changing seasons.

After graduation, Mr. Junggren joined Star Power Systems in Boulder, Colorado, as a Business Growth Advisor. He assisted real estate agents with the maximization of business revenues and regularly earned recognition as the top salesman in the company. In 2004, Mr. Junggren returned to New York to take a position as a Paralegal for DeCaro & DeCaro PC, where he worked for a year.

Peter N. Junggren Jr. joined UBS Wealth Management as a Corporate Stock Benefit Consultant and Financial Advisor in 2005. For six years, he assisted the company, one of the largest wealth managers in the world, in a range of advisory and investment services. In the course of managing the millions of dollars of clients’ assets, he also earned the Net New Asset Award.
