Nishad Khan - Skilled real estate attorney and dedicated philanthropist
With a private practice in Orlando, Florida, attorney Nishad Khan focuses on real estate law, with specialties in short sales, foreclosures, loan modifications, and defense bankruptcy. He has experience with all real estate transactions, including drafting leases and contracts, offering defense for foreclosures, and resolving title insurance problems. As Managing Partner of his firm, Khan offers oversight to the firm operations.
He started the firm in September 2007 in order to help clients with title closings and offer consultation for small business owners on asset protection and estate planning. Additionally, he represents custom home builders and franchisors. Prior to opening his practice, Nishad Khan served as an associate at another law firm also located in Florida. His work centered on complex commercial acquisitions as he helped developers, sellers, and buyers navigate each step of complicated transactions, including drafting documents, forming companies, preparing contracts, and obtaining entitlements. Furthermore, Khan functioned as the lead associate in the Real Estate Department, where he took on responsibility for supervising employees, managing closings, and marketing. With the firm, Khan also helped start-ups with business formation, investments, and asset protection.
Nishad Khan also found employment at a law firm where he served as an associate. With this firm, he helped clients form corporate entities. He also gained valuable experience in real estate law. Prior to earning bar admission, he graduated from the University of Central Florida with a B.A. in Political Science and International Relations, then earned his J.D. from Seton Hall University. He completed a judicial internship under the guidance of the Honorable A. Thomas Mihok with the Ninth Judicial Circuit Court of Florida.
Actively involved in his field, Nishad Khan was recently selected out of 100 applicants as a Fellow of The Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section fellowship program, which focuses on recruiting young practitioners to the Bar’s largest and oldest section. The program provides leadership training and allows participants to work with top attorneys. In addition, Khan was selected to speak at the Law Symposium for the Orlando Regional Realtor Association on “REO Properties and Auction Sales” in September 2012.
