Niranjan Shah - Niranjan Shah leads a team of over 250 professionals.
Ellis Island Medal of Honor recipient in 2006, Niranjan Shah is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Globetrotters Engineering Corporation since founding the company in 1974. Globetrotters has played a key role in many major engineering and construction projects in Chicago, Illinois including the Deep Tunnel Project in the 1980s and the extension of I-355 South. Niranjan Shah maintains the status of Fellow with the American Society of Civil Engineers.
In addition to the Ellis Island Medal, Niranjan Shah has also garnered awards for his engineering skills and his business savvy. In 1991, he was named Citizen Engineer of the Year by the Illinois chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineers, followed by the designation of Business Person of the Year by the Asian American Alliance in 2001. He has also won the International Vishwa-Gurjari Award, the Pravasi Bharatiya Samman Award, and the Light of Gujarat Award.
Shah attended The University of Mississippi, where he graduated with a Master of Science in Civil Engineering.
