Founding member of the San Francisco-based American West Learning Center, Miron Balyasny has over 15 years of experience in the business world. Holding senior positions in diverse international companies, Miron Balyasny garnered executive skills in management, marketing, and long-term strategic planning. Miron Balyasny founded World Shoe Production and functioned as its Manager for a number of years. Steering the operations of the Moscow-based footwear apparel company, Miron Balyasny oversaw the manufacturing processes and designed marketing and strategy plans which led to company-wide success. Following his tenure as head of World Shoe Production, Miron Balyasny founded Shift Labs Inc., a software consulting and development company located in Kiev, Ukraine. Miron Balyasny directed the daily operations of the off-shore company, utilizing his in-depth understanding of global markets to manage all marketing and sales strategies for the company. During his appointment with Shift Labs, Miron Balyasny's assertive and results-oriented approach achieved significant growth for the company in both European and United States markets. Currently, Miron Balyasny concentrates on his role at the American West Learning Center. Miron Balyasny is directly responsible for all overseeing marketing, sales, and special events for the large and dynamic educational organization, and he also teaches classes about Kabbalah for the center. Miron Balyasny recently organized a highly successful conference for authors and scientists involved in the celebrated documentary film, What the BLEEP Do We Know!? Educated at Ivanovo State University in Russia, Miron Balyasny holds a Master's degree in Physics. A resident of San Francisco, California, Miron Balyasny enjoys film and travel, and loves to engage in active physical activities in his free time, including swimming, tennis, and soccer.
