My husband Bill and I live in an old cabin style home built in 1915 on Gideon's Bay of Lake Minnetonka. We are avid DIYer's and have been remodelling the home with some interesting finds! We are into organic gardening, we have many gardens in our small yard. I am trying to turn our yard into a mini arboretum. We enjoy visiting our local Landscape Arboretum for ideas and to just soak up the beauty. We love sailing with our Hobie Catamaran, we wish there was more time to get out on the lake! When we go out we look for agates, feldspar, quartz and other beautiful stones so we can polish them in our tumblers. I design jewelry and sell it, then I give a portion of the proceeds to the Multiple Sclerosis Society. Some of the stones we polish go into my jewelry. I am a member of several environmental and animal protection groups. We operate several ecommerce websites, 2 of them focus on organic gardening supplies and composting, and another sells a wide variety of items on eBay. I am currently building a site that will have organic clothing and household items.
