An active member of the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce, Jennifer Leesfield has built a solid reputation as an expert event planner, fund raiser, and philanthropist. Re-elected as Chair of the Leesfield Family Foundation through 2012 by the foundation's Board of Trustees, Jennifer Leesfield supports numerous causes in the South Florida region and throughout the rest of the world, with a special emphasis on animal rights and The Humane Society. Through the Leesfield Family Foundation, Jennifer Leesfield has recently coordinated grants to the William J. Clinton Foundation, the Children's Home Society of Florida, the Living Hope Haiti Christian Mission, and the Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network (FAAN). Jennifer Leesfield and the Leesfield Family Foundation also sponsor a number of other charitable organizations involved in Jewish causes, education, health, and women's and children's issues. After earning her Bachelor of Arts degree from Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida, Jennifer Leesfield started working for U.S. Senator Bob Graham in Washington, D.C. Subsequently, Jennifer Leesfield accepted a position with the Social Secretary's Office in the Clinton White House, organizing social events such as parties and receptions. Upon the completion of her term, Jennifer Leesfield returned to Miami to become Chair of the Leesfield Family Foundation. Other charitable organizations that Jennifer Leesfield has aided include the Humane Society, the Milk & Honey Food Distribution at the Greater Miami Jewish Federation, Amigos for Kids, Pridelines Youth Services, and Kristi House. Jennifer Leesfield also participates in runs and walks in support of various causes. She is currently organizing the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's team for the 2011 Walt Disney World Marathon in Orlando, Florida. In addition, Jennifer Leesfield intends to run in the race.
