Jaxon Schweikert - Jaxon Schweikert

In order to succeed in sports, athletes must put together a weight training program. Here, they can create targeted workouts that will give them the power and stamina to do great things. But, weight training programs have benefits even for people who do not participate in sports. By lifting weights, even the average person can gain strength and improve overall health. Pulling together a program like this is harder than it might seem, and often, teachers need to provide assistance to help students pull together effective programs that don't cause injury.
Between the years of 2008 and 2012, Jaxon Schweikert taught classes like this at the Mount Vernon High School. In his courses, he outlined how weightlifting programs should work, and he demonstrated lifting techniques for his students. Jaxon Schweikert was careful to observe his students in class, and correct them when they were performing lifts improperly. He was also an informal ambassador for weight lifting, helping his students understand why the practice is so very beneficial.
