Dr. Jonathan Christenbury has served as Medical Director of the Charlotte, North Carolina, ophthalmology practice Christenbury Eye Center since 1986. Christenbury offers his patients state-of-the-art iLASIK procedures based on extensive research from 35,000 treatments he has performed.
For individuals requiring vision correction, but who are not candidates for iLASIK surgery, Dr. Christenbury additionally offers VISIAN ICL treatment. This surgical procedure involves the placement of an intra‐ocular lens in the space behind the pupil and in front of the crystalline lens. The inserted multifocal intra-ocular lens offers both near and far vision correction, and is ideal for those over 40 who want to eliminate reading glasses and bifocals.
