Dianna Bonny - Experienced Writer
Dianna Bonny has made charity a priority in her life since before her college days. A generous and experienced philanthropist, she has donated to numerous non-profit organizations and organized charitable events to raise funds for a variety of causes. A native of southern California, Dianna Bonny grew up in Orinda, where she contributed as a candy striper at the Oakland Children’s Hospital. Subsequently, she served as a camp counselor for Northern California youth with cystic fibrosis. After enrolling in the University of California, Berkeley, she joined the Delta Gamma sorority and Ace of Clubs, a women’s group that brought together members of multiple sororities to engage in philanthropy.
Following the conferral of her Bachelor’s degree, Dianna visited Europe and began working for a London-based financial magazine as a research assistant and writer. Two years later, she returned to the United States, moving to San Diego. Shortly thereafter, she started participating in the area’s charitable events and organized functions to benefit various causes, such as children, leukemia, cerebral palsy, and a local zoo. She has assisted area caterers and served as a party planner throughout the years. She has also hosted a musician at her home.
Outside of helping her community, Ms. Bonny has developed substantial real estate knowledge. She formerly owned a Jamaican vacation villa and has remodeled multiple area properties throughout the years. She spent time as an office manager at Hampstead Financial, which engaged in several projects on behalf of the federal Department of Housing and Urban Development. In that role, she held responsibility for financial operations and management of such undertakings. In a later job, Dianna Bonny managed her employer’s transition to a new, more spacious, and better-situated office location.
