David Nagel - David Nagel - Decron Properties

David Nagel brings more than 30 years of experience in real estate and construction to his position as President and Chief Executive Officer of Decron Properties. When David Nagel joined Decron Properties in 1988, it employed only 15 people and managed fewer than 10 properties. As a result of his strong leadership, the company now manages $1.5 billion in assets, oversees 55 properties, and employs 190 professionals. David Nagel came to his current role with a strong background in real estate development.

He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Management from New York University's Stern School of Business in 1981. Following graduation, he gained experience in the construction industry. Working as a Job Superintendent, he oversaw the completion of a multi-family condominium development and garden-style office building. He then went on to earn a Master of Business Administration in Real Estate Finance from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California (USC) in 1985.

After leaving USC, Mr. Nagel served as a Purchasing Agent for the Construction Division of Nagel Construction Company. Since then, he has served with all divisions of the company, including the Property Management Division, where he contributed his skills as Property Manager and Portfolio Manager. In addition to his professional responsibilities, David Nagel maintains a strong commitment to his community.

He currently serves as President of a Los Angeles high school, and has led his synagogue as Chairman of the Board. He has also actively supported the Los Angeles Police and Fire Departments. As a result of this experience, he assisted in designing the infrastructure for the San Fernando Valley's largest Fire Life Training Facility, and for the Valley's Police Operation Bureau and Traffic Division.
