Conrad Gallagher - Conrad Gallagher
Conrad Gallagher is a restaurant and hospitality industry veteran with numerous projects around the world. A Michelin Star recipient, and the only one of Irish nationality, he presently leverages his success as the principal of Gallagher and Associates, which he founded in 2010 from the growth of his previous consultancy group, Conrad Gallagher Consulting, which has flourished since 2003.
With both companies, he provides hotels and restauranteurs with world-class advice on menu design and implementation, branding and identity, interior space, and other aspects of fine dining. Based in Las Vegas, Mr. Gallagher maintains a professional presence in Santa Monica, New York, and Dubai. His recent clients include the St. Regis Hotel in Abu Dhabi and a Saudi princess’s Barcelona-based restaurant. He continues to work with the St. Regis group of hotels, and with The Marriot Hotel and Resort chain, on projects across the Middle East and Africa.
Prior to the formation of Gallagher and Associates, he operated as the Group Executive Chef and Director of Food and Beverage for Sun International Hotels and Resorts. Primarily based in Cape Town, South Africa, during this engagement, Mr. Gallagher directed the culinary program across 18 properties, which housed 85 restaurants and employed 6,000 food and beverage professionals. He performed an overhaul of the service culture, refreshed menus and interiors, and instituted a new private dining program, all of which culminated in a complete rebranding of the company. He ended his affiliation after seven years in order to move his now school-aged children back to Ireland for their education.
In addition to creating world-class dining establishments in New York, Las Vegas, Abu Dhabi, Barcelona, and across Ireland, Gallagher successfully communicates his passion for cooking as a television personality. Currently, he is a Presenter on Head Chef, a cooking reality show in Ireland in its third season. Previously, he hosted Conrad’s Kitchen, a cooking show with a two-year run on BBC, and made appearances on cooking and lifestyle segments of other programs.
