Cynthia M. Couyoumjian is a Certified Financial Planner with more than 25 years of investment experience. She specializes in wealth management and holds a California Insurance License as well as a number of securities licenses, including those for General Securities Representatives, Uniform Securities Agents, and Investment Company Products/Variable Contracts Limited Principal.

A native of Warren, Michigan, Couyoumjian attended Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan, and after graduating, decided to relocate to the West Coast. After settling in Southern California, she began working for Equitable, where she held various positions. After 18 years, she left the company to become an independent advisor at First Allied.

In 2003, Cindy Couyoumjian decided to open her own firm. She has been acknowledged as an authority in the financial services industry and has received numerous awards for her achievements. In 2011, she was recognized as a Top 10 producer with her broker-dealer, Independent Financial Group, and she is well known for the planning seminars she regularly conducts throughout Southern California.

Also involved in community service, Couyoumjian is an active volunteer with The Teen Project, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing teenagers who age out of the foster care system with resources and support. She lends her expertise to the organization’s executive management, consulting with them on various financial and fundraising projects. She lives in Tustin, California, with her husband, Harry, and their two children.
