Dr. Bart Presti opened his practice in 1987 immediately after receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the Baylor College of Dentistry at The Texas A&M University.Dr. Bart Presti distinguished himself through independent research as a student at Baylor College of Dentistry. His research from 1983 through 1985 involved investigation of the effects of smokeless tobacco on bacteria of the oral cavity. His work as a student earned industry recognition, including an opportunity to present at the International Association for Dental Research. The same year, he won the First Place Institutional Winner award for Independent Research at the Dallas Mid-Winter Dental Convention.
