Deeply experienced in investment management, Nancy Tengler translated her aptitude for incisive observation and analysis into a career as an author. At present, Nancy Tengler’s literary projects include books on taxation in America and on her experiences as an investment advisor and executive. While she was still involved in investment management, Nancy Tengler wrote two books on the subjects of relative dividend yield and buying value and growth stocks. Nancy Tengler has also written columns for Microsoft’s MSN Money Central and appeared on CNBC’s Squawk Box and Kudlow & Cramer. Following her departure from the business world, Nancy Tengler earned an MFA in writing from St. Mary’s College, where she won a number of scholarships. For the last two consecutive years, Nancy Tengler was named nonfiction editor for Mary Magazine. Nancy Tengler currently teaches writing in the Contra Costa Colleges and is the winner of a scholarship from the Prague Summer Workshop. In addition to her writing, Nancy Tengler prioritizes charitable efforts with the Bay Area Friends of Armenia, World Vision, and Samaritan’s Purse. Residing in the California Bay Area, Nancy Tengler is the mother of a son in the military and a daughter in college. Nancy Tengler was selected as a Fellow Finalist in Non-Fiction for the Prague Summer Program in 2009 and again in 2010.
