Mark Cartwright Dallas - Psychologist

Mark Cartwright serves as a psychologist with Carewright Clinical Services in Dallas. He assesses patients of all ages in clinical areas including depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, schizophrenia, and post-traumatic stress syndrome. Trained in neuropsychological evaluation, Cartwright considers a number of behavioral indicators, including achievement, projective, personality, and intelligence metrics.
Mark Cartwright earned his Master’s degree in School Psychology at Ohio State University and subsequently completed his Ph.D. at the same institution. As part of his dissertation work, he developed an “assessment of caregiver psychoeducation” tool. He completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the Dallas Medical Center-The University of Texas Southwestern in 2007 and 2008. He also undertook a number of rotations and practicums in his field and notably completed a Children’s Hospital Autism Assessment Doctoral Practicum in Columbus from 2004 to 2005. In this capacity, Cartwright observed and conducted family interviews and assessments, provided autism evaluation reports for children in the unit, and recommended community support agencies for parents and families affected by autism.
One of Mr. Cartwright’s primary responsibilities in his current position is conducting school-based assessments and consultation in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. He has also served as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with Carousel Clinical Services since 2008. He conducts over 30 hours of clinical psychotherapy sessions each week.
From 2010 to 2011, Mark Cartwright served as a Supervising Psychologist with Tyler Counseling & Assessment Center, where he focused on psychotherapy and school-based assessments. He conducted and supervised Psychological Disability Determination Evaluations for the Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services.
