Based in Houston, Texas, Dr. Ihsan Shanti has earned several accolades for his contributions to the medical field. These include a commendation from the American Medical Association in 2007 and recognition as a Best Doctor in the field of pain management for four consecutive years.

Dr. Ihsan Shanti earned his Doctor of Medicine at King Edward Medical University in Lahore, Pakistan. He studied health management at Southwest University in Louisiana as well, graduating with a Doctor of Philosophy. In addition to his doctoral education, he also completed a residency in anesthesiology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University in New York and a residency in the Department of Surgery at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Ohio. Dr. Shanti’s medical training includes a fellowship in pain management, and brain tumor research in the Department of Neurosurgery at Harvard Medical School.
In his personal life, Dr. Ihsan Shanti enjoys pursuing his interests in Islamic architecture and art. His personal art projects have been featured on television networks as well as in numerous publications. He also spends a great deal of his free time with his wife and children and hopes to someday visit the seven new wonders of the world with his family.
