Initially intent on a career in investment banking, he decided to try his hand at the family business and found that he enjoyed it. Haig Avakian’s role places him at the head of the company’s sales team, and he devotes his efforts to increasing sales on a global level. Additionally, he works with the company’s watchmaking division. His first major project with the company involved designing men’s watches which were launched in 2009.
Before joining the company, Haig Avakian earned his Bachelor of Science from the University College of London, where he studied Economics. He went on to receive his graduate degree in Gemology from the HRD School in Antwerp, Belgium.
In his spare time, Mr. Avakian enjoys traveling, reading, and cooking.
