Since 2007, Eric Helf has served as Managing Director of the privately held Hudson Real Estate Group, focusing on East Coast commercial property investment opportunities. Helf’s current position draws on more than a decade of experience in the New York City commercial property sphere, with additional expertise in regional multifamily real estate investment syndication. 

Beyond his work with Hudson Real Estate Group, Eric Helf is a member of the Film Society of Lincoln Center, which introduces audiences to new directors and movies through the New York Film Festival. One of his most memorable film experiences involved viewing the thriller A History of Violence. The director, David Cronenberg, and stars Maria Bello, Viggo Mortensen, and William Hurt, were on hand to answer questions and participate in a general discussion about the modern-day crime classic. 

Helf is also passionate about travel; he has traveled extensively throughout Southeast Asia and Europe, with favorite Continental destinations including the Interlaken area of Switzerland, the Greek islands Mykonos and Santorini, and Prague. His travels in Asia have included the Chinese cities of Beijing, Guangzhou, and Shanghai, as well as the Kowloon area of Hong Kong. Mr. Helf has also explored the Thai cities of Chiang Mai and Bangkok and the Indonesian beach destination Bali.

He carries his Nikon D300 digital SLR on all of his trips in order to record unique and interesting landscapes, as well as images of his children and family. 

Raised in Washington Heights, New York, and Bergen County, New Jersey, Eric Helf attended Riverdale Country School in the Bronx from middle school through high school. He subsequently earned his B.A. at Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania, and he maintains affiliation with a chapter of the Zeta Beta Tau fraternity.
