A multifaceted sales executive with expertise in magazine publishing and medical marketing, Colleen Murphy currently serves as an Independent Representative for cryosurgical device manufacturer CryoPen, Inc.

With an impressive professional background, Ms. Murphy set the stage for her career while an undergraduate at Southern Methodist University (SMU) in Dallas, where she pursued studies in business administration, held membership in the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority, and was selected as a Little Sister to the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity.

Following receipt of her Bachelor of Arts from SMU, Colleen Murphy launched a prolific career in publishing and advertising sales, joining the team at Adams Business Media in 1988. For the next 20 years, Ms. Murphy built a dynamic professional relationship with Adams Business Media, beginning with a term as Group Sales Manager at the company’s offices in Cathedral City, California.

In 1992, Colleen Murphy earned a promotion to Group Publisher at Adams, in which capacity she held oversight for a team of sales representatives, managed a departmental budget, and created new revenue streams for the group. Six years later, Ms. Murphy relocated to the greater Chicago metropolitan region and transitioned into an independent role with Adams Business Media, spending the next 10 years selling advertising to clients over a nine-state territory. In tandem with this work, Murphy handled print and online advertising sales for Rental Management Magazine, building annual revenues by an average of 17 percent over a five-year span.

In 2009, Colleen Murphy became Midwest Sales Executive for Consolidated Pathology Consultants, where she promoted medical pathology services in and around the Chicago area between 2009 and 2011. Today, Ms. Murphy promotes the CryoPen cryosurgical tool to physicians and medical centers, operating out of her office in Arlington Heights, Illinois.
