A lifelong entrepreneur with more than 20 years of experience in the executive management of companies serving the oil and gas industry, Brooks Mims Talton III commands an impeccable track record in all of his endeavors. Following a period at two oil and gas production and exploration firms, Brooks Mims Talton III founded Mims Oil Tools in 1989. As Principal of Mims Oil Tools, Brooks Mims Talton III cultivated a unique specialization in automated plunger lift production systems. Brooks Mims Talton III and Mims Oil Tools provided necessary assistance to a wide range of oil and gas companies, in some cases achieving an increase in natural gas output equivalent to heating over 3 million U.S. homes for one day. Diversifying his interests in the oil and gas industry in 1991, Brooks Mims Talton III established the Well Link Corporation and enjoyed the patronage of major corporations and developing firms alike. Three years later, Brooks Mims Talton III launched the oil and gas measurement and monitoring company Master Meter, LLC, which he owns and operates to this day. In addition, Brooks Mims Talton III established and subsequently sold GJ Measurement, LLC to Compressco, Inc., where he held responsibilities as CEO and President from 1999 to 2008. As one of the founders of Compressco, Inc., Brooks Mims Talton III embarked on his largest undertaking to date. Based in Oklahoma City, Compressco, Inc., benefited from the managerial acumen of Brooks Mims Talton III and enjoyed unprecedented growth over a five-year period. In 2004, Brooks Mims Talton III and his partners sold Compressco, Inc. to publicly traded Tetra Technologies, Inc., although Talton continued on as President for the next four years. Today, Brooks Mims Talton III splits his time between his family and his companies, including Classen Square, LLC; BMT Capital Corporation; and BMT Investment Partners, Ltd.
